[02:56:34] <Sheng_Gradilla> often there are posts asking for help on a particular point in the game, where a walkthrough tells them to do something in certain order, but some "must-do-first" was overlooked by the writer of the walkthrough, and that leaves the players stuck on that spot

[03:02:50] <Sheng_Gradilla> it's not an actual alignment, but a way for the engine to determine who attacks who during combat

[10:09:39] <wjp> you'll have to explain how directx can automatically pause something... I really don't see how anything else but the program itself can determine how exactly to "pause"

[10:12:48] <wjp> so you'd totally screw up sound, network and any other things that need to stay running...
