[03:20:26] <Marzo> No, it sets 'item' as the first argument. Many intrinsics just happen to have a first argument for which 'item' is appropriate

[03:26:42] <Malignant_Manor> I guess I learned something new about ucc. I haven't really touched it in quite awhile. It's kind of sad that that bug hasn't been reported before. It's been there for years and is something that would always happen if people used the shrine.

[03:27:51] <Marzo> (i.e., the fact that positive numbers are no longer converted to NPCs)
[03:29:39] <Marzo> In the past, Exult would have interpreted that line as "play SFX 0 on NPC 64" as the implicit 'item' would get converted to 0 and '64' would turn into NPC 64 (and the explicit 'item' at the end would be ignored)
[03:31:52] <Malignant_Manor> I know I haven't even played the Keyring Mod. I've only messed around a little bit with the keyring and the party spells. Of course, I haven't played Ultima 7 for at least a year and probably several.

[03:34:47] <Marzo> I used to play quite a bit before I started making the Keyring mod, but seeing the game in that kind of detail makes it a bit harder to enjoy it
[03:35:55] <Malignant_Manor> When I was younger I played hundreds of hours and sometime latter I played through with Exult a few times (nice crashing constantly cvs snapshots).
[03:37:02] <Malignant_Manor> I did spend a good amount of time playing with Exult Studio and building so stuff.

[04:18:50] <pupnik> one thing i want to look at is opengl textures, not for 3d, but for sprites, background panning/zooming

[04:23:50] <Malignant_Manor> I hate the documentation. I see several sites missing many options in their listings.
[04:26:09] <Malignant_Manor> I haven't really cared for the textures I've seem when changed in the settings for exult. Other scalers do a better job for less cpu.
