[02:04:18] <-- Marzo has left IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds)
[10:51:42] <wjp> Dominus: actually, there is already a very similar check in update_schedule itself, but only for schedule continuations
[10:51:54] <wjp> maybe moving that check to the top level would be good
[10:53:46] <wjp> although I'm not sure at all what would be best here
[10:53:56] <wjp> I'm not too familiar with the requirements of this code
[10:57:28] <wjp> if you want to test, move the } directly before restored_schedule = -1; up to directly below the 'if (i < 0) return;'
[10:57:48] <wjp> (so that the schedule_type == schedules[i].get_type()... check gets moved outside of the top-level if)
[11:10:13] <Dominus> hi wjp, took me a bit to figure out that you are talking about actors.cc (and most likely meant { :)
[11:11:43] <Dominus> and yes, with that change, no more crash
[11:30:15] <wjp> um, no, I meant } :-)
[11:32:10] * Dominus blushes
[11:32:15] <Dominus> yes, that works as well
[11:32:32] <Dominus> you don't want to know what I did before
[11:34:48] <Dominus> I was stuck at the restored_schedule = -1; one further up
[11:40:04] <wjp> ah yes, sorry, should've been more precise
[11:40:50] <Dominus> and I should have kept looking furhter than the first search hit :)
[11:41:08] <Dominus> not to mention just looking a tiny bit lower than the line I was in :)
[11:51:15] <Dominus> so, wjp, should we go with that?
[11:53:58] <wjp> maybe...
[11:54:14] <wjp> it would be good to test a bit
[11:55:15] <wjp> maybe check some regular patrol schedules to see if those work? And maybe List Field training/combat as an example of manually changed schedules?
[11:56:38] <wjp> and regular combat
[11:57:43] <Dominus> k, will do that later
[11:57:45] <Dominus> thanks

[16:55:09] <Demorde> No one has any updates on the rotate patch? :(
[17:06:34] <Dominus> Demorde: it applied relatively fine last time I tried and I don't think much changed since then
[17:07:03] <Dominus> how about you post in that thread what problem you have
[17:13:57] <Dominus> you really need to give more info
[17:23:03] <Demorde> I guess I can do that, but you are all suppose to magically help me. Jeeze.
[17:29:03] <Demorde> :)
[17:32:02] <Dominus> ah, I think this caused by the automatic source wise indentation marzo and wjp did
[17:32:39] * wjp whistles innocently
[17:32:41] <Dominus> i guess you need to apply it manually which you can do... ;)
[17:33:00] <Dominus> wise/wide
[17:33:13] <Dominus> ;)
[17:40:52] <Demorde> This is not a magical solution! This is worrrrrrrrk.
[17:41:02] <Demorde> Ha, ok. I wanted to make sure there wasn't something horrible happening before I did them all.

[21:25:40] <i30817> Hey wjp: would that battle music patch be better acceptable for inclusion if i moved most of it outside Audio.cc?
[21:26:05] <wjp> um, remind me?
[21:26:40] <i30817> This thing: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3602007&group_id=2335&atid=302335
[21:27:58] <wjp> I think we're all suffering from a lack of time to spend on Exult at the moment
[21:29:02] <i30817> funny, i'm suffering from lack of a job.
[21:30:11] <wjp> hm, that's not so funny :-( sorry to hear that
[21:30:17] <i30817> That patch could stll work better, i'm not sure about transitions while combat music is supposed to play.
[21:30:37] <i30817> Nah, don't worry, i don't
[21:31:01] <i30817> And the patch is a big mess on Audio.cc maybe
[21:31:57] <-- Marzo has left IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds)
[21:32:18] <i30817> it ignores music commands while there's combat ongoing... and reenables them when a music is scheduled to play and there are no enemies around
[21:33:01] <i30817> Or unpauses the music that was paused when combat started on some situations (avatar ended combat mode and all enemies dead)
[21:33:35] <wjp> hm, my audio knowledge is too rusty to really be able to say much at this point
[21:34:57] <i30817> Also it seems to make a small original game bug more prominent
[21:35:43] <wjp> I should also say that I currently can't review audio things due to bug https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3609847&group_id=2335&atid=102335
[21:37:55] <wjp> but bedtime now; good night
[21:37:59] <i30817> Uh. I guess i haven't noticed because i'm using the sound packs with SFX.
[21:38:04] <i30817> good night
