[00:45:28] <Colourless> secondly, the projects goals have sifted much more closely towards social aspects and just things like customization and speical AI will take away from those aspects

[00:46:07] <Colourless> doing things like implementing a relavitely robust IK system is more important than 'smart' AI
[00:46:38] <Colourless> we want it so players can actually properly touch and interact with each other
[00:47:14] <Colourless> which is usually not even considered for like all MMOs. Normal MMOs focus on combat primarily, we are not
[00:49:13] <Elizabeth> what sort of interactions will there be?
[00:49:53] <Elizabeth> I would think some form of AI coding would be useful for that...potentially allowing new unthought of interactions
[00:50:51] <Elizabeth> if the code was able to construct new types and forms of interactions based on the standard use of interactions over time
[00:51:31] <Colourless> saying anything you want would be a bit broad, but its not necessarily untrue. There will be a number of inbuilt 'interactions' like hold hands, hug, kiss, slap, but I'm also going to implement a posing system where you as a player can develop your own if something you want isn't already there
[00:52:19] <Colourless> big trick is making the posing system easy to use
[00:52:50] <Elizabeth> yeah and making it bug free
[00:53:43] <Elizabeth> if ppl are able to create interactions...if they became really complex...I could see issues arising
[00:54:34] <Colourless> interactions will be liked to the game mechanics though. If someone wants to do something to you, you have the oportunity to prevent them from doing it, either by an out of character no, or by an in character attempt where you let the game engine decide if your character can or can not resist
[00:55:27] <Elizabeth> also if you are allowing ppl to create new interactions...what about the response to that interaction given by another user
[00:55:44] <Elizabeth> will the system somehow formulate a response on the fly?
[00:56:03] <Elizabeth> or does the other person have to then create manually a response?
[00:56:59] <Colourless> depends on what you're doing. For the most part, the interaction will define the actions of all parties involved if all parties agree to it
[00:57:28] <Colourless> so you can pose other people, if they let you
[00:58:13] <Elizabeth> well say I want to create an interaction of taking a bucket of water and dumping it on another persons head
