[15:33:32] <lynxlynxlynx> odd
[15:33:55] <lynxlynxlynx> the gametype *is* autodetected, it just doesn't find gemrb.ini later

[16:49:06] <-- Beh0lder has left #gemrb
[17:19:02] <Yoshimo> which display size and resolution would you reccomend for playing with gemrb on a cellphone?
[17:20:08] <fuzzie> 1280x800? :)
[17:20:33] <lynxlynxlynx> maximum possible
[17:21:10] <Yoshimo> that sounds like a computer fuzzie^^
[17:21:40] <fuzzie> you'd think, wouldn't you.
[17:21:50] <Maighstir> what's the maximum resolution of your phone?
[17:24:15] <fuzzie> i guess ppi quickly becomes a problem though
[17:24:48] <Maighstir> 800x480 shouldn't be too annoyingly small, I think
[17:26:12] <Maighstir> depending on the screen size, of course, but given that that resolution only exists on large screens, I guess it's not too bad
[17:26:19] <fuzzie> heh
[17:26:22] <fuzzie> well, define 'large screens'
[17:26:27] <Maighstir> for a cell phone
[17:26:32] <Maighstir> 5"?
[17:26:39] <Maighstir> 4-5
[17:26:40] <fuzzie> 3.5" :)
[17:27:17] <fuzzie> so it's important to get something with a large screen *and* a resolution like 800x480, i guess
[17:28:51] <fuzzie> the Desire HD is pretty nice on the higher end of the 800x480 range (4.3"), i see there's the HTC Sensation XL at 4.7" but i've never seen one, never mind tried gemrb
[17:29:20] <fuzzie> and, ouch, i guess it's brand-new?
[17:31:07] <fuzzie> hmph, distracted by this again :p
[17:31:31] <Maighstir> Distracted by IRC? What are we distracting you from?
[17:32:44] <fuzzie> distracted from real-ish work :) i have "phone with high-res display which is large enough to actually see stuff" on my todo list, for relatives who want smartphones to do work email etc but can't see very well
[17:33:41] <fuzzie> the HTC Titan is another 4.7" 800x480 device, but they have not appeared here yet.
[18:28:27] --> brad_a has joined #gemrb
[18:31:27] --> gembot has joined #gemrb
[18:34:21] <brad_a> does gemrb have a set of defined exit status codes? I'm looking but haven't found anything.
[18:36:02] <lynxlynxlynx> nope
[18:37:31] <brad_a> didnt thinks so. not very useful for anybody but me probably :)
[18:37:59] <brad_a> i will just catch a non 0 exit and popup a message saying something failed and to check the logs
[19:07:05] <lynxlynxlynx> that's fine, any nonzero is an error
[19:07:26] <lynxlynxlynx> i can think of only grep that differs, but is much more easily used in scripts due to that
