[17:14:55] --> barra_notebook has joined #gemrb
[17:29:44] <brad_a> If I did everything using cmake and let the higher powers examine it first could i add my cocoa wrapper to gemrb? it is 2 source files a header file and an icon file.
[17:56:20] <lynxlynxlynx> sure
[17:56:31] <lynxlynxlynx> it will be much easier to maintain that way
[19:24:24] <-- |Cable| has left IRC (*.net *.split)
[19:24:39] --> |Cable| has joined #gemrb
[19:33:22] --> edheldil_ has joined #gemrb
[19:46:52] <Yoshimo> gemrb highlights chests and doors , is it possible that they are not highlighted if line of sight is obstructed like a roof or a wall , when a house is rotated for example? some doorentries in beregost for me are only found via trial and error
[19:47:00] <Yoshimo> mousing over the houses
[19:50:17] <-- barra_notebook has left IRC (Quit: Verlassend)
[20:05:02] <edheldil_> fuzzie: don't you happen to know how to specify in IDA what registers are used as what parameters in a procedure? I thought it was called custom calling convention, but I can't ind it anymore
[20:18:30] <Yoshimo> what does google say on that matter? (a question i typically ask myself)
[20:24:42] <-- yyz has left IRC (Quit: leaving)
[20:36:02] <fuzzie> edheldil_: set the function type as a string, no?
[20:37:16] <fuzzie> e.g. 'int
[20:37:17] <fuzzie> erm
[20:37:30] <fuzzie> 'int __usercall func<ebx>(int x, int y<esi>);', suggests the docs
[20:38:20] <fuzzie> ah, no, it is 5.1+ :P
[20:39:05] <edheldil_> hmm, that's it. It's 5.1? strange, I thought it was in 4.9 manual
[20:41:26] <fuzzie> well, i only have the 6.1 linux demo here, which is a sign i really need to buy a copy
[20:43:01] <fuzzie> but i don't see anything in the old docs at a glance
[20:46:15] <Yoshimo> i only found a note saying "write yourself a plugin"
[20:46:22] <-- Yoshimo has left IRC (Quit: Yoshimo)
[20:49:47] <edheldil_> indeed it does not work here ...
[20:52:42] <edheldil_> do you use the time limited demo? What other limitations are there?
[20:53:16] <fuzzie> no saving, PE/Mach-O x86/ARM only
[20:53:44] <fuzzie> and no loading, i should note
[20:53:57] <fuzzie> so it's not very helpful for game REing
[20:54:55] <edheldil_> that is very limited, then. How much time do you have?
[20:55:13] <edheldil_> I mean, how long does it run?
[20:55:41] <fuzzie> it is limited by operations, not by time
[20:56:31] <fuzzie> and i have yet to hit the operations limit ever, because i'm mostly only using it to view things
[20:57:04] <fuzzie> (and it is quite happy running for weeks on end)
[20:58:52] <fuzzie> but it means you can e.g. load your binary, then just leave it running and skip to the bit you want when it's too confusing in old IDA
[21:01:58] <edheldil_> ok
[21:52:14] <-- lynxlynxlynx has left IRC (Remote host closed the connection)
[21:53:47] <-- Maighstir has left IRC (Quit: .)
