[19:58:08] <brad_a> I want to handle an SDL_QUIT event by displaying an alert warning about unsaved progress/whatever before quitting. is there a way to display an alert in gemrb or should i just have my cocoa wrapper throw up an alert?

[20:33:52] <brad_a> couldn't i make a gui for a basic alert box that could be shared for all games? I have no idea currently how to display windows but i should be able to figure it out. the problem is i dont know python at all… but i did pickup a book.

[20:55:41] <brad_a> does anybody know if quitting gemrb on windows via menu or other source even sends an SDL_QUIT event to the queue? if mac is the only platform that makes use of SDL_QUIT im just gonna do an os alert.
