[08:10:07] <edheldil> btw, what backers are in the long list in the credits? Someone over $100? I haven't found you there , lynx. Not myself :)
[08:11:28] <fuzzie> yes, $100+
[08:19:30] <edheldil> for KS projects like this, I regret that I can't invest my $25 to get a share of profits, THAT would be interesting :)

[12:06:59] <lynxlynxlynx> i just bought the cheapest one, i'm not that silly or nostalgic
[12:07:17] <lynxlynxlynx> i find it especially funny how people pay to beta test
[13:28:12] <edheldil> they pay to play first
[13:33:07] <lynxlynxlynx> a buggy product
[13:33:22] <lynxlynxlynx> it's like people were paid to test floss stuff
[13:33:41] <lynxlynxlynx> *paid for
[13:44:16] * wjp is not complaining if more people want to test :-)
[13:48:43] <-- Eli2 has left IRC (Remote host closed the connection)
[13:50:10] --> Eli2 has joined #gemrb
[14:17:03] <lynxlynxlynx> this parallel makes me wonder if there's a way to finance floss games using that approach
[14:19:19] <edheldil> which approach? KS? Why not ...
[15:36:58] <lynxlynxlynx> not ks, this pay-for-early-access/beta stuff
[16:23:54] <thomcom> Pay $50 on Xbox Live for Early Access to Call of Duty 91?
[16:24:17] <thomcom> Pay $50 on Xbox Live to look for early exploits to the CoD servers and try to bring down development itself

[19:06:52] <phao> Hi... kind of offtopic here, but in BG2... is there much opportunity to play with evil characters? Most quests and things to do in the game that I see are about good/neutral characters, but there are lots of dialog options for evil-ish alignment...
[20:48:24] <lynxlynxlynx> more than in most games
[20:59:22] --> thomcom has joined #gemrb
[21:16:26] <phao> hehehe
[21:16:28] <phao> that's true
[21:16:45] <phao> I guess I haven't seen much of the evil-ish quests because I haven't looked for them.
[21:17:11] <phao> Or maybe I should be doing the same quests, but in a different way...
[21:34:31] <thomcom> phao sup
[21:34:43] <thomcom> did you ever finish your SDL 2.0 port for the android engine?
[21:53:42] <-- thomcom has left IRC (Quit: Textual IRC Client: www.textualapp.com)
[22:01:06] <phao> android engine?
[22:01:11] <phao> Oh... he left
