[12:13:56] <SiENcE> just because Messages are scrolled down to the end of the conversation, but if the resolution is low, you have to scroll up every time
[12:17:40] <edheldil> is not it some flag to TextArea control? Just guessing ...

[18:50:07] <HellTiger> hi there.
[18:51:05] <HellTiger> can i play flawless all games with your project?
[18:52:19] <fuzzie> no :) you can't even play much of iwd2 and pst.
[18:53:54] <HellTiger> ok
[18:54:02] <HellTiger> so i dont mind at this time
[18:54:08] <HellTiger> i am just a little gamer :D

[21:01:33] <edheldil_> Textmode: MOV DX, 03D4h ; MOV AX, 06B00h ; OUT DX, AX ;-)
[21:02:05] <Textmode> ;_;
[21:02:13] * Textmode huggles edheldil_
[21:02:37] <Textmode> whats up?
[21:03:21] <edheldil_> that should switch you to mode-X ;-)
[21:04:03] --> fuzzie has joined #GemRb
[21:05:23] * Textmode huggles fuzzie
[21:07:20] <Textmode> If I'm looking for bugs to fix, which game should I install? :3
[21:07:57] <fuzzie> It depends what kind of bugs you're looking for. :P
[21:08:48] <Textmode> oh, a smorgasbord? whats on offer? :P
[21:10:35] <fuzzie> Well, among our exciting opportunities of the week, there's "various boring UI tweaks", "irritatingly complicated design issues" and "problems requiring days of staring at disassembly".
[21:11:55] <Textmode> boring UI tweaks seems like a good place to start
[21:12:21] <fuzzie> They're probably most approachable in bg1/bg2/iwd1.
[21:12:52] <edheldil_> iwd2 should offer most opportunities, no?
[21:13:39] <Textmode> so basically anything but PST? :P
[21:14:00] <fuzzie> Yeah, but iwd2 itself is so broken that it's difficult to easily seperate out the issues.
[21:14:34] <fuzzie> imho, of course :)
[21:15:10] <Textmode> lol
[21:15:19] <edheldil_> if you are looking for a piece of work which would really be appreciated and might be easy, fix the "dialog option is not highlighted if mouse cursor does not move" bug
[21:15:48] <Textmode> didn't the original have that same problem?
[21:15:56] <fuzzie> Doesn't matter. :P
[21:16:00] <Textmode> lol
[21:16:19] <fuzzie> Making a fake mouse move at appropriate points is a nice way to deal with that kind of thing..
[21:16:26] <fuzzie> I thought someone already had, perhaps for something else.
[21:16:31] <edheldil_> at least I think it's not fixed yet :)
[21:16:59] <fuzzie> I haven't been paying attention because I went to spend a day fixing something in scummvm sometime last year and I am still not done.
[21:17:34] <edheldil_> hehe. A small five minute fix? :)
[21:17:51] <fuzzie> Not quite that misjudged. :)
[21:19:10] <Textmode> "<fuzzie> Yeah, but iwd2 itself is so broken that it's difficult to easily seperate out the issues." <- because its 3e?
[21:19:30] <fuzzie> Well, just because no-one's spent much time on it.
[21:19:30] <edheldil_> another small project might be fixing the floating menu dragging in ps:t
[21:20:02] <edheldil_> I think the rules is the core of the problem
[21:20:27] <fuzzie> Last time I tried it, I ended up talking to barrels.
[21:20:51] <fuzzie> I'm not sure if that was intended or not, since they *did* talk back to me, but the original game does not in fact seem to let me do it.
[21:21:12] <fuzzie> So my impression of iwd2 support in gemrb is somewhat coloured by the talking barrels problem.
[21:23:28] <edheldil_> lol :)
[21:24:19] <edheldil_> Doors with dialogs always remind me of Hitchhiker's guide
[21:24:53] <fuzzie> And I get depressed every time I run pst because my stupid buggy death script handling is always thhe first thing I see.
[21:25:30] <fuzzie> I don't quite remember what was the problem there.
[21:25:39] <Textmode> buggy death script?
[21:26:05] <fuzzie> The zombie at the start of PS:T doesn't actually die for a while after you kill it.
[21:26:39] <fuzzie> I'm pretty sure (from memory) that it's because there's an on-death script blocking it, because it started after I started handling on-death scripts more sensibly (needed for the other games). But apparently not sensibly enough.

[21:48:54] <Textmode> what issue?
[21:49:22] <lynxlynxlynx> the unresponsiveness i was talking about (yesterday?)
