[20:05:45] <psch> am i reading this right that the FileLogger is a plugin and thus can't be initialized before the PluginManager is?
[20:07:08] <fuzzie> it does look like it
[20:08:24] <psch> that does explain why the version number doesn't show up then
[20:09:55] <-- Cable_ has left IRC (Ping timeout: 260 seconds)
[20:09:58] <psch> which, as i see it, is good, because that means there's no android weirdness that causes the log to not contain it
[20:23:36] --> Cable_ has joined #gemrb

[20:44:01] --> lynxlynx has joined #gemrb
[20:47:24] <lynxlynx> Ups, hope it'll be stable now
[20:48:07] <lynxlynx> Exciting work by fizzle :)
[20:51:49] <-- lynxlynx has left IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer)
[21:02:34] --> lynxlynx has joined #gemrb
[21:15:38] <-- lynxlynx has left IRC (Read error: No route to host)
[21:38:02] <psch> i've now changed the notification to show ERROR and FATAL whenever we get GEM_ERROR from core->Init(), and not show at all if we don't
[21:38:11] <psch> gonna put that up on my github and send a pull request
[21:38:26] <psch> tomprince: do you have time for setting up an android buildbot in the next two days?
[21:38:52] <tomprince> Probably not in the next couple of days, but after that.
[21:39:56] <psch> i'm just asking 'cause i have the next two days completely free, and you're probably on a different schedule than me
[21:40:09] <psch> but anywhen during the next week or so is fine i guess; i'm around after all
[21:43:09] <tomprince> psch: Are you planning on hosting it?
[21:46:07] <psch> i could host it locally at best, but i don't have anything always-on here
[21:46:16] <psch> or at all, for that matter, mobile device excluded
[22:01:46] <psch> i don't have any idea how the whole buildbot thing works; if i can run it on my desktop conveniently i'd do that, but i do occasionally need all my cpu cycle for myself...
[22:07:49] <psch> pull request is out, anyway
[22:11:12] <psch> tomprince: if hosting actually means having it running 24/7, i can't do that
[22:11:33] <psch> no budget for a vps or similar, nor any machine i have running 24/7
[22:17:40] <psch> i'll just write up the deps and invocations then i guess
[22:31:25] <psch> most of that actually is already the in android/README
[22:31:50] --> brada has joined #gemrb
[22:32:02] <psch> i'm not clear on if we want to sign it with the new key i generated, though
[22:32:08] <brada> psch: no, the build slave doesnt need to be always available
[22:34:01] <psch> that probably mean i can host it
[22:35:51] --> lynxvarmobilis has joined #gemrb
[22:38:04] <psch> brada: logging to file is a plugin, btw
[22:38:17] <psch> refering to "ask the android guy why the version number doesn't show up in the log"
[22:38:45] <brada> thats annoying
[22:38:54] <brada> probably why i did my own file log for ios
[22:43:45] <psch> file logging kind of should be equivalent to stdout logging, in any case
[22:44:14] <psch> seeing as my linux logfile also starts with "Core Initialization"
[22:44:33] <psch> don't ask me how to realize that though ha
[23:02:36] <lynxvarmobilis> The pull looks ok, could it be rebased clean
[23:04:19] <psch> that's nice, apparently im not totally abusing git :)
[23:36:41] <lynxvarmobilis> I cant pull today, still away with only trivial pwds ;)
[23:46:26] <-- lynxvarmobilis has left IRC (Quit: bless)
