[16:02:02] <sisk> I'm trying to play BG1 with GemRB under Linux. I can get the game started, but the HUD is completely missing. Right off the bat the console throws a [GUIScript]: Missing functions:UpdateControlStatus message. If I hit any hotkeys for the various dialogues, I get another missing function message related to whichever button I hit (ie, if I hit i, I get a Missing function:OpenInventoryWindow)

[16:06:19] <fuzzie> it is probably worth interjecting here that the last release still isn't "good enough" for bg1, so you'd want an svn build anyway

[16:17:37] <fuzzie> We all tend to run it directly from the build directories, so sometimes the 'make install' forgets to copy things, but that doesn't seem to be the problem here. Strange.

[16:26:28] <fuzzie> I would try svn in case we did something stupid with the release.
[16:28:57] <fuzzie> if you installed over an old release of gemrb then perhaps there are pyc files lying around in /usr/local/share/gemrb/GUIScripts, but that should still cause errors..
