[18:30:44] <brada> tho on the plus side i finally found an instance of where our unused initpalette ivar should be used

[18:31:22] <brada> I see we hacked around this originally by using [capital=0] markup
[18:42:43] <brada> so this leaves me a bit of a mystery
[18:42:55] <brada> I need to use that palette sometimes but not others
[18:43:31] <brada> the drop caps for example shouldnt use it
[18:43:37] <brada> nor should the state fonts
[18:45:21] <brada> of course bioware didnt make it easy for me to know
[18:45:29] <brada> because the do give me a palette color
[18:45:39] <brada> that isnt FFFFFF or 000000
[18:51:20] <lynxlynxlynx> we always handle state fonts manually, so no need to worry about that too much

[19:12:43] <brada> and i dont know what you mean anyway :p likely master handles things differently then i do

[19:13:51] <brada> only because they are handled in the markup parsing which is separate from the standard initial handling

[19:14:51] <brada> by that i specifically mean the drop cap font
[19:18:49] <brada> to me it almost seems like fonts are supposed to be allowed to have null palettes
[19:19:13] <brada> and i am supposed to use these palettes when the font palette is null
