[15:40:52] <fireflame> recently i have played and finished pillars of eternity
[15:41:33] <fireflame> and i have been trying to find a fix for a quest bug in the extension of the game. I know this is a bit offtopic, but i was wondering if you would be interestedin discussing about it

[17:17:30] <fireflame> I enjoyed PoE tbh, though i felt furstrated bys ome mechanics, like the fight system
[17:17:52] <fireflame> it was hard for me to get used to not prebuff before ach fight, and the way i had to rely on a "tank"(eder)
[17:20:50] <fireflame> but because of the nature of the bugi thought you might be interested, because it feels very similar to bugs that sometimes happenedin fallout or bg games
[17:23:41] <fireflame> To make shorty, there is a character, Zahua, which you have to include in your team to get a specific result during a quest. But for some reason, he is bugged, and he keeps repeating the same opinion during a conversation, regardless of how you behaved during his personal quest
[17:24:54] <fireflame> I discussed with a dev who ackwnoledged the issue and forwared to QA, hopefully it will help; i had a look at the conversation files and someone who is more advanced than me told me which values were supposed to trigger the script, and said that for some reason teywere not
[17:28:40] <fireflame> also , gemrb is at 0.8, so hopes for maybe a gold status in 2018.2019?
[17:32:11] <fireflame> also, i was wondering is it hard to maintain gemrb? I mean, Apple nad mobile companies release phones each year, so how is it possible to make sure that gemrb can run on the future Iphone 11 or whatever comes next?
[17:32:55] <fireflame> I remmber that some games ran fine on windows xp but had trouble to run with Vista, but i dont know if it is the same with mobile phones'os

[18:07:55] <lynxlynxlynx> our release versioning is a bit of a mess; the next version will still be in the 0.8 stream
[18:08:07] <lynxlynxlynx> 0.9 is for when we finally finish the subviews branch
[18:08:24] <lynxlynxlynx> and 1.0 when all the games are completable (currently missing iwd2)
