[21:28:35] <fuzzie> there's some instants-only stuff for held, pausecaster, PETRIFIED, FROZEN, avatarremoval or timestopped
[21:28:58] <lynxlynxlynx> what i want to do in the end is to prevent petrified characters to turn around; fixing the has no steps stuff only makes it trigger later, since their script has retreatfrom in it

[21:33:40] <fuzzie> my handwritten notes have the script updates in a SpecialStateProcessing() check, which is a very informative name that tells me nothing
[21:34:32] <fuzzie> and they're also stopped on non-interruptible actions, cutscenes, unselectableactor unless you're non-party Edwin, etc
[21:35:05] <fuzzie> i still have absolutely no idea why the Edwin thing

[21:36:01] <fuzzie> it doesn't seem to be in the bg1 strings
