[02:23:03] <brad_a> tomprince: im not quite sure how to create a file logger.
[02:23:21] <brad_a> actually its more that im not quite sure how to use dtastream
[02:24:16] <brad_a> oh i guess i want a filestream :0
[02:24:22] <brad_a> and i guess i use OpenFile
[03:19:36] <brad_a> tomprince: i dont seem to know how to use a file stream
[03:20:10] <brad_a> how can i create a new file that i can write to?
[03:24:38] <tomprince> brad_a: https://github.com/tomprince/gemrb/commit/61555ab46a222333632933541610ca631c379e3c ?
[03:25:19] <brad_a> hmmm thats exactly what i tried but the file is empty
[03:25:27] <brad_a> probably need to fluch it?
[03:26:40] <tomprince> Yes. I don't think we expose that. Do you need to be reading it while the program is running?
[03:26:54] <brad_a> no i dont :-P
[03:27:27] <tomprince> ShutdownLogging should close (and thus flush) it.
[03:27:59] <brad_a> yes. i was clearly just being silly
[03:29:01] <tomprince> And, if you are watching it while gemrb is running, it will appear to fill up in chuncks.

[15:40:09] <brad_a> i don't mean to be a pest, but is our blit byte order problem going to be fixed soon? :)
[15:42:19] <wjp> I was kind of hoping for a patch :-)
[15:43:16] <brad_a> oh? :p i was waiting for you!
[15:43:41] <brad_a> i probably could i guess
[15:44:31] <brad_a> i think somebody should test sdl 2 on linux/windows first
[15:44:59] <brad_a> make sure its just platform specific and not platform and library version
[15:45:05] <wjp> since SDL seems to hardcode its pixel format with ios/uikit, we can probably get away with doing that too
[15:45:42] <wjp> and yes, checking on linux/windows with SDL 2 makes sense
[15:47:19] <brad_a> tomprince: did you say you are a buildbot developer?
[15:48:04] <tomprince> Yes.
[15:48:51] <brad_a> is it by chance possible to set up a schedule when it is ok to build and not?
[15:50:04] <brad_a> i guess i can probably get fancy ith the launchd plist
[15:50:05] <tomprince> There isn't any way to do that right now.
[15:50:36] <brad_a> well somehting to think about in a future version :)
[15:52:48] <brad_a> so can somebody test sdl 2 on win/linux?
[15:53:20] <brad_a> would very much like to be rid of this annoying color problem :)
[15:54:22] <tomprince> brad_a: In the meantime, you can schedule when the slave is up and down. And if you kill it with HUP, it will finish the current build before shutting down.
[15:55:13] <brad_a> i was just going to try and manage it via launchd. i assumpe it will send HUP signal
[15:56:10] <tomprince> It might send TERM instead, by default.
[15:56:20] --> kida_laptop has joined #gemrb
[15:56:55] <tomprince> And, it might send KILL after, with a timer, so you'd want to increase the timer for that, if that is the case.
[15:57:51] <brad_a> ill play with it

[16:29:19] <Avenger> lynx: can you fix this globally, for all games: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=24081&view=findpost&p=198432
[16:29:26] <Avenger> err, hi everyone
[16:31:29] <brad_a> the map thing or the autosave thing?
[16:32:12] <Avenger> the right click on quickweapon (bow)
[16:32:45] <Avenger> right clock on weapon already gives a list of weapon abilities. But if it is a bow, it should list all weapon abilities for all arrows
[16:33:18] <Avenger> it is not a difficult stuff, just guiscript

[16:59:10] <lynxlynxlynx> really, isn't that done by the bindings?
[16:59:21] <lynxlynxlynx> we also need to exclude some headers
