[17:30:16] --> Avenger has joined #gemrb
[17:30:21] <Avenger> hmm, weird stuff: it seems PST needs GameDataPath to be set to empty
[17:30:54] <Avenger> i wonder why my pst works without it, but i see less invalid path warnings if i clear it
[17:33:10] <-- Avenger has left IRC (Client Quit)
[17:33:26] <lynxlynxlynx> isn't it the same as with cd5 and cd6?
[18:25:42] <-- cybersplice has left IRC (Ping timeout: 255 seconds)
[19:28:39] <-- test32894789234u has left #gemrb
[20:22:58] --> Avenger has joined #gemrb
[20:22:58] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Avenger
[20:24:07] <Avenger> visualrange in PST seems to be stored in the visibility map. It seems actors don't have unique visual ranges
[20:30:15] <lynxlynxlynx> so you can cast across the map if another party member is there?
[20:32:14] <Avenger> no, you just cannot have unique seeing distances
[20:32:30] <Avenger> there is no IE_VISUALRANGE stat
[20:33:17] <Avenger> not even deep in the actor, all actors have the same constant value stored in the visibility map
[20:33:52] <Avenger> actor->GetVisualRange() simply looks the visibility map up, and takes the value from there
[20:34:22] <Avenger> i think iwd can modify this range
[20:52:41] <lynxlynxlynx> we do have problems with range in iwd, yes, but that may also be due to our internal constant
[20:53:04] <lynxlynxlynx> it also has that action to set it
[21:36:04] <-- Avenger has left IRC (Quit: ChatZilla 0.9.87 [Firefox 5.0/20110615151330])
