[20:25:46] <hdl> hello. You can advise ? whether it is possible to remove the voice of dialogue around the NPC? Spam surrounding NPC interferes select dialogue. I disabled in GUIScripts "IE_GUI_TEXTAREA_AUTOSCROLL" but it was not very convenient. may suggest a file source responsible for generating dialogues. I can not yet find. Thank you

[23:07:10] <lynxlynxlynx> why does everyone come for 2 minutes and expect a prompt response?! :s
[23:31:25] --> oragn has joined #gemrb
[23:33:15] <oragn> lo guys! can someone guide me to install BG1 (6CDs) on debian?
[23:39:44] <mcphail> oragn: I have only installed from the GOG installer which doesn't split things into CDs, but don't you just copy the contents of the CDs into directories and adjust the config file to point to them?
[23:41:23] <lynxlynxlynx> yep, that would work if you do a proper minimal install with wine
[23:41:40] <lynxlynxlynx> you could use unshield (see wiki), but it's more work and messier
[23:41:55] <oragn> I'm working on it..
[23:42:10] <lynxlynxlynx> ... but requires no "emulation"
[23:42:40] <oragn> Are there any bugs?
[23:43:42] <lynxlynxlynx> where?
[23:44:16] <mcphail> oragn: I've not had any major bugs running BG1. Haven't tried the other games yet: going to complete Torment under Wine before trying on gemrb
[23:44:55] <oragn> nice!
[23:46:22] <mcphail> oragn: I think the debian package links against sdl1.2. If you hand-roll a build against sdl2 there is a cursor bug
[23:48:29] <lynxlynxlynx> bg1 should be completable
[23:48:38] <lynxlynxlynx> both in release and master
[23:49:06] <oragn> foolscreen bug :P
[23:49:11] <lynxlynxlynx> the weather's been to great and i was also playing some other rpg, otherwise we'd have .4 out already
[23:50:19] <mcphail> lynxlynxlynx: there were some big changes in git. Thanks for working so hard on this: it is a great project
[23:51:56] <lynxlynxlynx> thanks
[23:52:12] <lynxlynxlynx> iirc git has mostly pst work
[23:52:31] <lynxlynxlynx> oh and iwd2 of course
[23:53:31] <lynxlynxlynx> bg1 didn't have casting sounds before, but that's a single text file to change if anyone wanted to backport
[23:54:31] <mcphail> Didn't notice that. I could add it to my Ubuntu Touch build...
[23:55:41] <lynxlynxlynx> just wait for the next release
[23:56:22] <lynxlynxlynx> i may just defer some of the planned fixes and go for final testing
