[22:19:54] <HiPhish> Being able to play Ultima VI i a modern engine is very impressive from a technical standpoint, but from a user perspective the question is "why would I bother?", especially if the DOS version can run on your toaster with DOSBox. Offering features beyond what is possible in the base game will get users interested and might attract new developers.
[22:20:52] <HiPhish> Nuvie shines in not only playing Ultima Vi, but playing Ultima VI in a better, more player-friendly way.

[22:31:05] <HiPhish> When I bought Ultima Underworld as was scared shitless that the interface and controls would be horrible. Mostly because i had tried playing The Elder Scrolls: Arena before, and UUW is even older, from when WAS and mouse look hadn't been invented yet. Surprisingly enough, it was all thought out perfectly. Ultima Vi and VII were in much greater need for a modern engine.

[22:40:47] <HiPhish> First, the text scroll can get hug, covering up the whole scren. Would it be possible to specify a limit how many prompts to display at once? The scroll stops when it reaches the bottom of the screen,so there is some limit, but I'd like to set it even lower. Like half the height of the screen.

[22:42:21] <HiPhish> Second, I can't see the health status of my party. Exult has the option to display small heads in the corner with HM and MP bars. Would this be possible here? And there is no way to tell who is poisioned. In original mode the HP number weill b green, but nothing in the new U7 style mode.
