[07:00:12] <luteijn> bleh seems we need to s/www.math/math/ to reach logs now. I wonder if they're fixing to get a new webserver, or just having a problem with dns..
[07:13:25] <SB-X> hey luteijn
[07:13:26] <SB-X> that works
[07:13:29] <SB-X> how did you figure that out?
[07:19:27] <luteijn> because I was wondering if it was just my resolver being broken...
[07:19:34] <luteijn> so I poked around a bit.
[07:20:42] <luteijn> ?log
[07:20:42] <exultbot> Logs are available at http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/~wpalenst/nuvielog.php
[07:27:08] <luteijn> (and now math.leidenuniv.nl doesn't work anymore, it's back to www.math.leidenuniv.nl
[07:51:25] <SB-X> they both work for me now :)
[08:00:58] <-- SB-X has left IRC ("BRB")
[08:03:26] --> SB-X has joined #nuvie
[08:44:29] <SB-X> luteijn: do you need complete SDL_Events in Magic, or will an SDLKey be enough?
[08:48:19] <luteijn> I'm not sure... will that allow me to get targets, input etc, or would I have to duplicate the code for those to handle the keys?
[08:49:29] <SB-X> an SDL_Event wouldnt allow you to get those easily anyway (without duplicating Event's event handling)
[08:49:40] <SB-X> you should still be able to get them because I added new functions to Event for that
[08:50:11] <SB-X> i can add function to magic to break and request input, then resume when input is returned
[08:53:25] <luteijn> I think we'll need that, I started adding it, but I think I'd have have added more states to Event at the time.
[08:54:33] <luteijn> most spells want a target (obj,actor,location), or input like 'To phase:'..
[09:25:22] <-- servus has left IRC (":wq")

[09:47:30] <-- wizardrydragon has left IRC (Read error: 110 (Connection timed out))
[11:49:03] --> Yuv422 has joined #nuvie
[13:26:48] <luteijn> Does nuvie even start up properly in martian dreams mode?
[13:32:20] <Yuv422> hi luteijn
[13:32:27] <Yuv422> I haven't checked in ages
[13:32:40] <Yuv422> I'd be surprised if it worked at all
[13:32:45] <Yuv422> at the moment
[13:34:54] <Yuv422> I'm off to bed
[13:34:55] <Yuv422> cya
[13:35:23] <-- Yuv422 has left IRC ()
[14:21:44] <luteijn> savage empire seems to work (after I fixed the music thingy), but martian dreams crashes, confusing gdb (or at least me)
[14:23:11] <SB-X> that's cool SE works
[14:23:26] <SB-X> we need to support the walk-through-walls cheat for u6 too :)
[14:31:49] <luteijn> I guess that means you played a little SE.. Conversations didn't work too well.
[14:41:41] <SB-X> no, I havn't played any SE in Nuvie :)
[14:41:52] <SB-X> but I know there's a walk-through-walls cheat
[14:44:21] <-- SB-X has left IRC ("BRB")
[14:45:48] <luteijn> There's a screenshot of SE being run with nuvie on the website now.
[14:46:08] --> SB-X has joined #nuvie
[14:55:38] <luteijn> martian dreams seem to crash when loading its background, but I don't really trust gdb's opinion, as it seems to jump from one branch of a switch into another..
