[11:08:26] <wjp> you could check the privateer executable to see if there are any strings indicating specific decompression code in there
[11:08:39] <wjp> for example the U8 executable contained a copyright string for sonarc
[11:08:57] <Crazy_Abbot> yeah I saw your source code and had a poke through it
[11:09:08] <Crazy_Abbot> so I looked at the priv exe
[11:09:21] <Crazy_Abbot> (code for the sonarc decompresser you wrote)
[11:09:28] <Crazy_Abbot> all I could find was a borland C++ string
[11:11:02] <Crazy_Abbot> I saw the ultima 8 exe had about 8 or so copyright strings, but privateer only has one. so not many clues there
