[21:44:11] <watt> interesting... q3 source seems to define mouse and jostick buttons as normal keys.... that seems like a good idea... could mesh together all of the keybindings to a single array at least if I did that
[22:00:08] <watt> Ok, I think I finally know how I want to handle everything in that code-wise.

[22:17:20] <watt> Eek. - I also think that only a subset of the keys in SDL's key set will be bindable... some matching to the same buttons--- keypad vs.non-keypad numbers for instance.
[22:21:40] <watt> no, I take that back.. I will keep the keypad numbers separate.
[22:43:56] <watt> I should mention I won't commit this to the repository until it has a good chance for review over the mailing list.... I have a feeling these changes will have some resistence.. and all concerns should be address before making such a change... mainly because I don't think changes like all of this should ever need to happen again.
[22:45:28] <watt> err.. I should say.. a change like this should never happen again - continuously changing how things work tend to piss people off with good reason.
