[00:02:50] --> Kirben has joined #pentagram
[00:02:50] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Kirben
[01:29:41] <Darke> watt: Weird. I've never had this problem, unless I deliberately blew away the .kde dir. It always seemed to play nice for me, copying the old .kde3.x dir into a new one, and moving the .kde symlink to point to it. I've gotten used to the inevitable 50-second-or-so wait after upgrading a major kde version. *grin*
[01:30:18] <watt> hmm.. I'm cursed I guess.
[01:31:48] * Darke always figured it was the gnome users who were cursed.
[01:31:54] * Darke waits for the lightning bolt.

[17:15:44] --> Fingolfin has joined #pentagram
[17:15:44] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Fingolfin
[17:58:39] <wjp> hi Fingolfin
[17:59:00] <Fingolfin> hi willem
[18:02:12] <wjp> did you build pentagram in OS X recently? I'd be interested in knowing if it still build properly after my recent mutilations to the build system :-)
[18:02:22] <wjp> (especially the builtin-data bit)
[18:04:25] <Fingolfin> I built it 1-2 days ago, I'll try again now
[18:04:51] <wjp> that's sufficiently recent :-)
[18:05:14] <wjp> did it have builtin-data enabled? i.e., did it properly build the tools/data2c/data2c binary?
[18:17:26] <Fingolfin> how would I jnow?
[18:17:28] <Fingolfin> know even
[18:17:52] <wjp> do you have a 'data.h' file in the data directory?
[18:18:08] <Fingolfin> there is one, yeah
[18:18:17] <wjp> then it worked :-)
[18:18:31] <wjp> pentagram should also show 'nodata' in its feature string at startup
[18:18:40] <Fingolfin> hmm, if that file is generated, how about inserting a comment at its start which states exactly that (and maybe even includes the creation date, and a notice not to modify the file manually)
[18:18:47] <wjp> good idea
[18:26:00] <-- Fingolfin has left IRC ("42")
[18:27:42] <sbx> what is the purpose of built-in data?
[18:28:22] <wjp> easier installation
[18:28:58] <sbx> oh ok
[18:29:00] <sbx> just wanted to know :)
[19:34:49] --> Jett has joined #pentagram
[19:34:49] <-- Darke has left IRC (Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer))
[21:08:45] <wjp> wow... removing the GC bilinear scalers reduces pentagram's size by 600Kb
[21:08:52] <wjp> (after stripping)
[21:15:04] --> kizCRC has joined #pentagram
[21:45:14] <wjp> hm, was weight limit in U8 3 times strength or 4 times strength?
[21:45:14] <-- kizCRC has left IRC (Read error: 131 (Connection reset by peer))
[23:17:36] <oaQ^> Isn't it in usecode?
