[02:13:20] <watt> Ah... nrg2iso... well that solve a small problem nicely...
[02:14:29] <watt> got a 266Mhz compaq laptop with one of the special "bios on a partition" concepts... except I don't have the stupid partition.
[02:15:27] <watt> The only way to get only back officially is to use a custom Win32 setup program to create a boot disk and use it.
[02:16:23] <watt> 2 more problems - windows (I guess I could actually reboot :-( ) and a floppy drive... which this laptop doesn't have........
[02:17:08] <watt> luckily someone thought of this issue and made a nero nrg file from the disk image... nrg2iso helps me there :-)
[02:18:14] <watt> and the laptop does boot from cd - a gentoo install cd is a good way to find out about the system quickly.

[17:18:18] <wjp> watt: overall your patch looks good
[17:18:45] <wjp> I'm not entirely convinced that the new console commands for the bindings are in the right classes
[17:19:04] <wjp> runFirstEgg should not be in Egg
[17:19:39] <wjp> less sure about the 'use' functions in MainActor
[18:04:07] <watt> I took the runFirstEgg out completely.... as for the rest... yeah, I guess there could be better answers..... I'll think about it a bit.
[22:16:18] <watt> What if those use functions where prefixed with "Avatar::" instead of "MainActor::" ?
[22:17:34] <wjp> I wouldn't particularly mind having them classless
[22:17:49] <watt> perhaps we should start categorizing functions into groups that don't neccessarily match a real class.
[22:18:08] <wjp> I already did that with a couple of cheats
[22:18:33] <watt> yup.
[22:19:03] <watt> anyway.. gotta go. bbl.
[22:19:12] <wjp> bye
[22:19:42] <wjp> in any case, regardless of the final in-game name they get, I don't think they belong in the (code) MainActor class
[22:20:19] <wjp> (mainly because most don't use/manipulate the MainActor object in any way)
[22:20:45] <wjp> hm, other than maybe searching the inventory, come to think of it :-)
