[00:22:06] --> Kirben has joined #pentagram
[00:22:06] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Kirben
[03:06:56] <-- Dominus has left IRC ("enough for now")
[03:58:08] --> Colourless has joined #Pentagram
[03:58:08] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Colourless
[04:13:24] <-- Colourless has left IRC ("casts invisibility")
[06:49:00] --- Darke|afk is now known as Darke
[09:39:53] <-- Darke has left IRC ("*fluff*")
[09:41:22] --> Darke has joined #pentagram
[09:41:22] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Darke
[10:19:08] <Darke> On a particularly odd note, tgwds don't actually use the 'spawn inline' opcode at all.
[10:19:54] * Darke considers that between that and pagan's use of the 'huge' datatypes, he's wondering why the game we _do_ support, has to be the hardest one. *grin*
[10:21:38] <Darke> Also, the way they handle the 'call' opcodes are different too. Instead of a direct 'class:offset' target, they use a 'class:jump table index' target, and the 'real' offset is then grabbed from the overloads.dat file.
[10:23:49] * Darke thinks he's mostly decoded the format of that overloads.dat file, he'll have to get around to integrating it into disasm/fold too sometime in the future. *sigh*
[10:39:06] <-- Darke has left IRC (brunner.openprojects.net irc.openprojects.net)
[11:05:52] --> Darke has joined #pentagram
[11:05:52] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Darke
[11:51:45] --> Colourless has joined #Pentagram
[11:51:45] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Colourless
[11:56:43] <Colourless> interesting
[11:56:55] <Colourless> especially considering i wanted to change Ultima8 to do something like that too
[11:57:26] * Darke was going to do something similar as well. *Grin*
[11:57:52] --> Kirben2 has joined #pentagram
[11:57:55] <Darke> But rather then include it in one big file, actually have the 'export/import' tables in each .uco file itself.
[11:58:01] <-- Kirben has left IRC (Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer))
[11:59:33] <Colourless> when making tgwds, they probably decided not to do some 'silly' things
[11:59:41] <Colourless> example being spawn inline
[11:59:50] <Colourless> it's used rarely in u8 too
[12:00:36] * Darke nodnods. Both spawn inline and the push/pop/global huge stuff really make little sense to him. Even though the concept of a spawn inline is rather cool. *Grin*
[12:01:28] <Colourless> :-)
[12:02:10] --- Kirben2 is now known as Kirben
[12:38:05] <-- Darke has left IRC (brunner.openprojects.net irc.openprojects.net)
[12:53:25] --> Darke has joined #pentagram
[13:00:09] <Darke> ?logs
[13:00:09] <exultbot> Logs are available at http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/~wpalenst/exultlog.php3
[13:00:25] <Colourless> http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/~wpalenst/pentagramlog.php
[13:00:35] * Darke makes a mental note to prod wjp to get exultbot to answer both the exultlog link and the pentagramlog one. *grin*
[13:00:43] <Darke> Ta.
[13:01:45] * Darke makes a mental note to ask next time if anything has been sent whilst he was disconnected, that way he won't go to so much effort to do something that ultimately has no point. *grin*
[13:02:01] <Colourless> :-)
