[15:38:17] <watt> been looking through the mozilla C++ portability guide..
[15:38:41] <watt> I think #28 is a pretty good idea.
[15:38:43] <watt> http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/portable-cpp.html#copy_constructors
[15:40:43] <watt> so far most other ones we don't already follow, don't really apply.. we don't need to work on old broken compilers. (Typically HP-UX, AFAI can see according to the guide)
[15:41:44] <watt> ...er I meant #26 - Copy constructors
[17:24:33] <wjp> hm, not sure if it's worth the effort
[17:28:39] <Fingolfin> I don't think it is
[17:29:22] <-- watt has left IRC (Read error: 131 (Connection reset by peer))
[17:34:11] <Fingolfin> Zm
[17:34:33] * Fingolfin notices that this "portable C++" guide contains refs which were outdated years ago...
[17:35:06] <Fingolfin> version 0.8, from 2001. I think much in it was dated back then... guess they didn't fix the comments from the original 1998 version =)
[17:35:34] <Fingolfin> e.g. all those comments about Mac compilers having this and that problem were actually not true for the 1998 compilers; they were true for the older compilers before that time, though
[20:21:26] <wjp> hi Fingolfin
[20:21:43] <Fingolfin> yo wjp
[20:29:11] <-- Fingolfin has left IRC ("42")
[20:29:51] <sbx> bye Fingolfin
