[12:58:41] <sdogi> it isn't a terminals fault... gnome-terminal's colors are set: system scheme... xterm uses too system scheme, but this scheme suck a bit.. on the other computer where kde is loaded and fathers computer with gnome the colors are ok... but on this p100 with blackbox the colors suck bit

[13:07:14] <DarkeZzzz> The original had stones that moved, and you had to time your jumps to get right on them. The patch stopped the stones from moving, and made jumping much easier.
[13:07:51] <DarkeZzzz> Most of the complaints were that Origin had removed lots of the stuff that had made ultima, 'Ultima', and had added 'Super Mario Avatar' gameplay to compensate.
[13:08:19] <DarkeZzzz> We're trying to make Ultima8 run on modern computers, and different operating systems. *grin*

[13:10:58] <DarkeZzzz> A little of that. Mostly it's been trying to work out how the file formats were structured, and how things worked by reverse engineering the files, and comparing the original to tests of the engine we're building.
