[06:34:02] <Miltazar> Hello everyone
[06:35:58] <Miltazar> I was just tryin out pentagram, and I was just wondering, whats not working? I mean what major stuff isn't working?
[06:51:24] <-- Miltazar has left #pentagram ()
[06:59:44] --> Fingolfin has joined #pentagram
[06:59:44] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Fingolfin

[12:37:22] --> SB-X has joined #pentagram
[14:14:32] <-- Kirben has left IRC (Read error: 110 (Connection timed out))
[20:12:30] <wjp> Corvus: as a temporary measure, F5 now also opens the console in latest pentagram SVN
[21:07:47] --> Fingolfin has joined #pentagram
[21:07:48] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Fingolfin
[21:19:47] <wjp> hi Fingolfin
[21:28:45] <SB-X> hi Fingolfin
[21:30:35] <Fingolfin> hi willem, hi SB-X
[21:40:17] <wjp> oh, silly bug... I was (stupidly) doing a line-of-sight test with an object of size 0, and it was slipping through minor cracks between walls, so that you could drop/pick up items from behind walls
[21:43:29] <Fingolfin> heh
[21:46:25] <wjp> I wonder if it would be a good idea to add a custom tracker for bugs from the original U8
[21:47:21] <wjp> although I guess we don't have really sufficiently many of them
[22:03:22] <Fingolfin> I think it would be more useful to have a section on the website listing "Known bugs in U8"
[22:03:45] <Fingolfin> it would list the bugs, with a description, and some info on whether pentagram implements a fix
[22:03:48] <Fingolfin> or workaround
[22:05:08] <wjp> not a bad idea
[22:09:04] <Fingolfin> yeah. now that I did that hard part of thinking it up, somebody should do it *gg*
[22:10:20] <wjp> yeah, somebody should ;-)
[22:10:48] * Fingolfin looks around for somebody
[22:10:59] * wjp wonders why everybody in suddenly looking at him
[22:11:36] * Fingolfin whispers: shh, folks, just keep it up a bit longer, I think he's getting the hint any moment now!!!
[22:13:57] <wjp> hm, I think this would be a good time to disappear ;-)
[22:13:58] <wjp> good night
[22:14:22] <SB-X> goodnight
[22:48:10] <-- Kohlrabi has left IRC ("Fast alle Menschen sind Regenw├╝rmer")
[23:20:18] <Corvus> oh, thank you wjp, but i changed yesterday u8bindings.ini and compile the game, adding support for console at f5 and minimap at f6 :)
[23:21:28] <Corvus> Fingolfin I think it would be more useful to have a section on the website listing "Known bugs in U8" <-- it can be done with a wiki engine, so anyone could add new information (bugs, curiosities, etc...)
[23:21:58] --> Kirben has joined #pentagram
[23:21:59] --- ChanServ gives channel operator status to Kirben
[23:24:02] --- Lord_Nightmare is now known as LordNAway
[23:27:14] <Fingolfin> sure that could be done (and we even have a wiki for ScummVM). I just don't believe in the "anyone" bit, considering the high number of spambots out there..
[23:27:24] <Fingolfin> which is why we keep a tight lids on accounts for the ScummVM wiki
[23:27:54] <Corvus> ams, ok
[23:28:07] <Fingolfin> only reason wikipedia works anyway is the gazillion of people watching all edits with eagle eyes... unfortunately, small projects like us can't do that :-/
[23:28:22] <Fingolfin> that said, a wiki can be quite nice for documenting all sorts of things :-)
[23:28:30] <Fingolfin> even when not everybody has an account
[23:28:46] <Corvus> true
[23:29:29] <Corvus> umf... bed time
[23:29:31] <Corvus> good night
[23:40:15] <SB-X> bye
