[00:30:49] <dominus> can't make it work this way, sdl and zlib don't pass their tests...

[00:41:03] <dominus> wjp: could you review my patch for both configure.ac and module.mk when you got time. Especially with module.mk I'm not sure whether I break it for other platforms https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3094226&group_id=53819&atid=471708
[01:52:04] <watt> I like what I see. I think you're missing an endif on module.mk
[02:00:46] <watt> and I think it should be "ifeq ($(HOST_SYSTEM),MACOSX)" instead of "if HOST_SYSTEM=MACOSX"
[02:00:50] <watt> I could be wrong
[02:40:34] <watt> Ugh. My old dependency building makefiles would have needed some work - prerequisites are a bit wonky.
[03:03:54] <watt> Think I am wrong about the HOST_SYSTEM part... didn't work for me.
[03:04:29] <watt> We do need "$(top_srcdir)/" on most of the $(INSTALL_DATA) items in the bundle
[03:04:53] <watt> all except the Info.plist
[03:05:25] <watt> - I built outside to the top source directory
[03:05:43] <watt> s/ to / of /
[03:07:00] <watt> ... and the static built bundle works for me now.

[14:54:14] <dominus> i think now I got it. module.mk with my modification needs ifneq ($(HOST_SYSTEM),MACOSX) and then later the endif makes sense :)
[15:01:55] <dominus> watt, my pentagram build script: http://pastebin.com/ubtF8wvE
[15:04:51] <dominus> I have made a prefix for each arch (ppc, i386, x86_64), compiled manually all the tools and libs needed (for my convenience for both Exult and Pentagram) and then let the script run to have a good snapshot. The script *could* even be changed easily to upload the snapshot to the websapce :)
[15:08:17] <dominus> wjp, I noticed two oddities with the build of pentagram: 1. make clean does not clean /data/data.h (created when you use built-in data), 2. regardless of the make command (and this is also without my modifications) I get the warnings: common.mk:42: warning: overriding commands for target `clean-tools'
[15:08:17] <dominus> common.mk:42: warning: ignoring old commands for target `clean-tools'
[17:22:40] <wjp> hm, right
[17:32:35] <wjp> fixed the clean-tools thing
[17:34:15] <wjp> data/data.h looks like it should be cleaned though
[17:34:28] <wjp> oh, maybe not when building out-of-tree
[17:37:19] <wjp> no, that works too
[18:40:54] <dominus> I'll keep an eye on it, but it definitely keeps staying in there for some reason...
[18:44:36] <wjp> if you re-configured without built-in data it won't be deleted
