[18:43:55] <watt> Umm. perhaps. I planned on eventually playing around with a few concepts, but I wouldn't expect anything drastically different.

[18:45:10] <watt> Things like an auto attack closest enemy or single keypress attacks are in the realm of possible.... visible damage numbers... stuff like that.

[18:48:20] <Monochrome_> but ye, its cool as a togleable
[18:49:26] <Monochrome_> in my opinion a target-based combat system like diablo would be the best
[18:49:46] <Monochrome_> ultima 8 is direction based
[18:50:24] <Monochrome_> which not only makes it a hell to aim your weapon
[18:51:17] <Monochrome_> but also allows you to swing you weapon randomly, thus making it possible to leveling up just by air swinging
[18:51:27] <Monochrome_> which is another stupid feature if you ask me
[18:51:49] <Monochrome_> target-based fighting system would only allow the avatar to attack if a target is present
[18:52:59] <Monochrome_> making combat a lot more easy and only allowing the avatar to level up if he attacked an enemy or training doll
[18:53:36] <watt> Hehe... yeah.... the skill points really didn't make too much sense due to the fact that I'd just sit there and attack air.
