[09:32:07] <servus> Plays smooth and fast in DOSBox just like I remember on my 486 66MHz :)
[09:33:39] <servus> I think what happened is that Megz played it originally on a very weak computer, so he remembers it being slow and choppy *grin*
[09:34:22] <servus> I originally played Ultima VII on a 66MHz, so it all moved REALLY fast, and Exult still seems ridiculously slow to me (even if "correct"). UW and UW2, however, don't suffer from the problem because the movement is actually timer-based. As fast as it can go is as fast as it's supposed to go
[17:28:26] <Cahaan> Megz: hmmm how high-res was the original 320 x something no?
[17:29:46] <Cahaan> I'm still waiting for Ultima Underworld 3 :-(
[17:37:28] <Megz> servus: i played it on a 486-DX50
[17:37:50] <Megz> The problem is the sound
[22:37:02] <Cahaan> last time I tried to play UW on a modern computer, the problem was the sound
[22:37:06] <Cahaan> as well
[22:37:34] <Cahaan> the first time I played was so great, with general midi music coming out of my Roland E-66 :p
[22:37:50] <Cahaan> incredibly good quality for that time
[22:38:02] <Cahaan> even know it would sound cool
