[13:16:07] <wjp> the slowdown in the throne room is definitely a lot less noticable now
[13:16:32] <Coren_> Zat is good. I don't notice as much on my setup because I'm bound by the number of polygons in there.
[13:17:29] <Coren_> But the deformed mesh cache is better organized and should show definite benifits on cpu-bound areas.
[13:18:02] <Coren_> Especially the first time one walks in; it shouldn't 'jam' as much the first time you see a model.
[13:19:18] <Coren_> Ah, and you get better performance even if I now animate the models every frame rather than every other frame. That is VERY good.
