[11:54:48] <Servus> i havent noticed anyone enthusiastic about their projects lately, is all
[11:55:29] <DarkIllusion> our project is still going fairly strong
[11:55:37] <DarkIllusion> i got distracted by freelancer for a while
[11:55:47] <DarkIllusion> but now, im back! :) we're up to level 7

[12:12:13] <Servus> nah, thats just something i offered to work on, but since i had not actually seen any work being done on the project besides what i was doing, i put it on the back burner for now

[12:20:48] <Servus> right now its viewing a small part of the grand canyon

[12:21:18] <DarkIllusion> not the lava ones but the magma ones
[12:21:33] <Servus> id use a fixed-size quadpatch with a vertex shader over it for uniform waves
[12:21:34] <DarkIllusion> i just need a little square bumpy terrain for the rocks
[12:21:47] <DarkIllusion> i have the lava already

[12:22:34] <DarkIllusion> i first put the layer of lava on
[12:22:37] <DarkIllusion> the lava is animated
[12:22:49] <DarkIllusion> then, i just put the bumpy layer right under it
[12:22:56] <DarkIllusion> so the highest bumps stick out of the lava
[12:23:31] <DarkIllusion> and there u go. rocks with magma flowing around them. :)
